When Will My Golden Retriever Calm Down?

During the puppy phase, your dog will have an abundance of energy. This is the best time to teach them how to behave properly. Once your dog reaches 2 years old it will start to phase out of its puppy energy and calm down.

Between the ages of 2 and 4 your dog will be in its adolescence, it still may have high energy. If you have trained your golden retriever, they may not have too much energy To cause any issues.
